Just going to admit my slight obsession with the new show ‘Can of worms’ hosted by Chrissie Swan! For those of you who haven’t seen it, each week Chrissie Swan is joined by three celebrity guests to find out people’s takes on moral questions. This show is so different as it doesn’t base its questions, or should I say ‘worms’ around politics and current affairs but instead on the issues we face every day such as, political correctness and personal values.
With no wrong answers, only the chance to embarrass themselves with honest and candid opinions this show is a whole lot of fun, whilst opening the eyes of Australia to some really serious issues. The show gathers vast opinions and experiences from people all over Australia by running an online poll of questions, revealed on the show in comparison or conjunction with the answers given by guests and also sourcing stories from the audience. This allows for the show to be more interactive and less biased, helping to send a message to the rest of the country.
I really can not get enough of this show, humour, thought provoking scenarios and a whole lot of cringe worthy questions, ‘Can of Worms’ has helped provide moral standpoints and a greater education on societal issues to people all over Australia and I want more!
